Atlanta ranked eighth in the world for congestion with the average commuter spending 70.8 hours in traffic each year. ~ INRIX’s 2016 Global Traffic Scorecard
To no surprise to residents, Atlanta continues to top the list for the worst cities for traffic congestion. Whether you are a resident, a commuter or a company wishing to start or relocate your business, traffic and mobility are always at the forefront of your mind. We can never truly move the city forward when residents are stuck in traffic. To truly have a 21st century city, our residents must be able to easily move about the city.
As your Council President, I worked closely with the Atlanta Regional Commission to help develop alternative transit options and solutions to address Atlanta’s growing traffic concerns.
